Rock Hill is the largest city ( City ) in York County with nearly 70,000 inhabitants, is the fourth largest in the US state of South Carolina .

In the place on Interstate 77 and US Highway 21 are next to Clinton Junior College and Winthrop University, the Giordana Velodrome and a factory of the fire truck manufacturer Seagrave Fire Apparatus .

The city near the Catawba nuclear power station , 40 kilometers south of Charlotte and a good 100 kilometers north of Columbia , has a palette of musicians, including the bands Four Pickled Peppers and Emery .
