Rodger mouse
Rodger Ernest Maus (born September 15, 1932 in Ogden , Utah , † March 16, 2017 in Palm Springs , California ) was an American production designer and art director .
Life
Maus attended University High School in West Los Angeles , joined the United States Army in 1953, and served in the Korean War . His film staff career began as a messenger at 20th Century Fox . In the 1960s he worked as art director with producer Irwin Allen on his science fiction series The Seaview - In a Secret Mission , Lost Between Alien Worlds and Time Tunnel .
In 1975 he first worked as a production designer on the television film The Missing Are Deadly ; his first feature film in this activity was Blake Edwards romantic comedy Ten - The Dream Woman . By 1991, Maus took part in a total of ten Edwards films, including Blind Date - A date with a stranger , Switch - The woman in a man and Victor / Victoria . 1983 he worked for Victor / Victoria , along with Tim Hutchinson , William Craig Smith and Harry Cordwell for the Oscar in the category Best Production Design nominated, but the award went this year to Gandhi . For his work on US television, he was nominated twice for the Primetime Emmy , which he won in 1995 for the miniseries Scarlett .
