Rodrigo Becão , real name Rodrigo Nascimento França (born January 19, 1996 in Salvador , Bahia ) is a Brazilian soccer player who has been under contract with the Italian first division club Udinese Calcio since July 2019 .

Club career

Rodrigo Becão , born in Salvador , Bahia , comes from the youth department of the EC Bahia . On November 28, 2015 (38th matchday) he made his debut in the 1-0 home win against Atlético Goianiense in the second-highest Brazilian division . This league assignment was his only one for over a year and a half and it was not until the 2017 season that he finally belonged to the squad of the first team. During this season he played in the top Brazilian division - the EC Bahia rose to this season - eight league games. Until July 2018, it was only used in one league game in the 2018 season .

On July 4, 2018 Rodrigo Becão changed for the entire season 2018/19 to Russian first division side CSKA Moscow . He made his debut on July 27, 2018 in a 1-0 win after extra time against Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Supercup . He made his league debut four days later in a 0-0 draw against Krylja Sowetow Samara . As a result, Becão quickly established himself as a regular player in central defense and played a total of 36 competitive games for the capital club. CSKA was interested in signing him after the season, but the contracting parties could not come to an agreement and Becão returned to Brazil.

On July 6, 2019, Rodrigo Becão moved to the Italian first division Udinese Calcio for a transfer fee of 1.6 million euros , where he signed a five-year contract. On August 18, 2019, he made his debut in a 3-1 cup win against FC Südtirol for the Bianconeri when he came on for Seko Fofana in the 66th minute of the game . In his first league game a week later, he scored the decisive goal for the 1-0 home win against AC Milan .
