Stefano Chuka Okaka , also Stefano Okaka Chuka , (born August 9, 1989 in Castiglione del Lago (PG) ) is an Italian football player of Nigerian descent. Usually he is just called Stefano Okaka .

Career

At his hometown club AC Castiglionese di Castiglione del Lago , Okaka began playing football in 1994 at the age of five. He then went to local rivals AC Sanfatucchio . He spent 2001 at Centro Italia Parma and in 2002 moved to AS Cittadella . There the scouts of the Italian club AS Roma noticed him and signed him in the summer of 2004.

At the beginning of the 2005/06 season, Okaka made it into the professional squad at AS Roma. The following season the striker was loaned out to Modena for a year . The second division had a purchase option for him. From summer 2008 Okaka played again at AS Roma. In January 2010 he switched to the English club Fulham on loan . The loan period ran until the end of the season. Then he returned to AS Roma. On August 20, 2012, FC Parma bought the midfielder and loaned him directly to AC Spezia for the 2012/13 season .

In the summer of 2015, Okaka moved to Belgium for RSC Anderlecht .

National team

Stefano Okaka decided to play for Italian national teams. After several appearances in junior teams, he made his debut for the Italian selection on November 18, 2014 in the friendly against Albania under Antonio Conte . In this game, Okaka scored the 1-0 winning goal. A year later, Okaka was used in the friendlies against Belgium and Romania . In March 2016, he played his last international match for the Squadra Azzurra in the test against Germany .
