Kevin Lasagna (born August 10, 1992 in San Benedetto Po ) is an Italian football player . He plays as a striker for Udinese Calcio in Serie A and for the Italian national team .

Career

Kevin Lasagna was born in San Benedetto Po in the northern Italian region of Lombardy and started playing football for the local club US Sambenedettina. At 20 he joined the fourth division ASD Cerea 1912, an amateur club, for which he played for a season. Through AC Este and second division club FC Carpi , with whom he was promoted to championship in the 2014/15 season , he finally made it to Serie A at Udinese Calcio in the 2017/18 season .

National team

On October 9, 2018, head coach Roberto Mancini nominated him to replace the injured Simone Zaza for the Nations League game against Poland on October 14. Lasagna came on for Federico Bernardeschi in the 81st minute and set up Cristiano Biraghi's goal for the decisive 1-0.
