Ron Rifkin (* 31 October 1939 in New York City , New York as Saul M. Rifkin ) is an American actor .

Life

Ron Rifkin has appeared in countless, mostly smaller roles in film, television and theater in the United States. Because of his distinctive face and his good acting performances, he became known very quickly. In 1998 he won the Tony Award for Best Supporting Role in Cabaret . He became particularly well-known through the television series Alias , in which he played the multi-faceted role of Arvin Sloane and through his role as Saul Holden in Brothers & Sisters .
