Finnhawk
The ship, like her sister ship Finnrose , was built in 1980 on the Oskarshamns Varv in Oskarshamn . The keel was laid on January 25, the launch on August 1, 1980. The completion of the ship, which came into service as the Finnhawk , took place on December 22, 1980.
Malmo Link
The ship was in service with various shipping companies in the 1980s. In 1989 the ship went to Nordö-Link . After a stay in the shipyard, during which a stern ramp was installed and the bow construction changed, the ship was used as the Malmö Link between Travemünde and Malmö until 2007 .
Ropax 1
On August 27, 2007, the Malmö Link was replaced and, together with her sister ship, the Lübeck Link , was sold to Channel Ferries , based in London . The ship, renamed Ropax 1 , left Birkenhead for Tunisia on January 11, 2008 , but its exact area of operation was not known. From January 2008 Cotunav chartered the ship and used it between Radès and Genoa or Marseille .
In 2008 "Ropax 1 KS" bought the ship and from November 2008 chartered it to European Red Sea Africa Line . On December 13, 2008, the ship collided with an oil tanker in Algeciras , struck a leak and was used again in March 2009 on the route.
In April 2009 the ship finally arrived in Greece and was launched in Perama from June 2009 . From October 2009 Adriatic Lines chartered the ship and operated it between Corinth and Ravenna , before it was launched in Corinth from June 2010.
Aqua Hercules
After the ship was initially launched in December 2010, it returned to service in May 2011 as the Aqua Hercules . In December 2010, NEL Lines chartered the ship and operated it between Corinth and Ancona before it was launched again in Corinth at the end of the year. From February 2011 NEL Lines chartered the ship again and operated it between Corinth and Ancona.
From November 2011 the ship sailed between Igoumenitsa and Bari and was laid up in Igoumenitsa in July 2012. From October 2012 the ship was in Perama. From November 2012 Salem Al Makrania Cargo Co chartered the ship and used it between Mersin and Damietta . The ship has been laid up in İskenderun since July 2013 .
