Rory Hugh Culkin (born July 21, 1989 in New York City , New York ) is an American film actor .

life and career

Born to Christopher "Kit" Culkin and Patricia Brentrup, Rory is the youngest of seven siblings, of which his older brothers Macaulay and Kieran are best known today. He made his film debut in 1993 - at the age of four - at the side of his brother "Mac" in the horror film The Second Face , in which Elijah Wood also took part.

In the years 1994 to 2000 there was a break in acting, probably also so that Culkin could start elementary school undisturbed .

With the feature film You Can Count on Me with Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo and directed by Kenneth Lonergan , Culkin returned in 2000 and won a Young Artist Award for it in 2001 .
