Rossa is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Raabs an der Thaya in the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 67 building areas with 30,696 m² and 75 gardens on 31,518 m² in the cadastral community Rossa , in 1989/1990 there were 68 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 114 and in 2009/2010 there were 75 buildings on 158 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 308 hectares were used for agriculture and 100 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 310 hectares and 99 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 305 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 98 hectares. Rossa's average soil climate number is 41.9 (as of 2010).
