Liebnitz is a locality and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Raabs an der Thaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 49 building areas with 25,615 m² and 54 gardens on 28,349 m² in the cadastral community of Liebnitz , in 1989/1990 there were 51 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 82 and in 2009/2010 there were 53 buildings on 112 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 213 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 44 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 214 hectares and 46 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 209 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 46 hectares. The average soil climate of Liebnitz is 29.6 (as of 2010).
