Lindau ( listen ^{? / I} ) is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Raabs an der Thaya in the Waidhofen an der Thaya district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 50 building areas with 21,108 m² and 48 gardens on 22,191 m² in the cadastral community of Lindau , in 1989/1990 there were 50 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 80 and in 2009/2010 there were 65 buildings on 140 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 261 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 92 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 255 hectares and 100 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 252 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 102 hectares. The average soil climate number of Lindau is 40.9 (as of 2010).
