Süßenbach or Süssenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the city of Raabs an der Thaya in northern Lower Austria .

The place accessible by the state road L52 is located north of Raabs am Abfall to the Moravian Thaya . The place founded at a spring, to which the name refers, is first mentioned in a document in 1372, but it was founded much earlier. the village Heinrichschlag also belonged to Süssenbach, which was about 800 meters north of Süssenbach on today's left-hand bend of the L52. The village was a manor that was possibly also a noble estate. The place is written Süßenbach , but the cadastral community Süssenbach .
