Roussin

Roussin is a red wine variety . It is grown in small quantities in the eastern part of the Italian Aosta Valley in the municipality of Arnad . According to genetic analyzes carried out by José Vouillamoz , it is probably a natural cross between Rouge du Pays  (Cornalin du Valais, Walliser Cornalin) and an unknown variety. It was also a natural cross partner of the Durize variety grown in the Swiss Valais .
