Roussin
Roussin is a red wine variety . It is grown in small quantities in the eastern part of the Italian Aosta Valley in the municipality of Arnad . According to genetic analyzes carried out by José Vouillamoz , it is probably a natural cross between Rouge du Pays (Cornalin du Valais, Walliser Cornalin) and an unknown variety. It was also a natural cross partner of the Durize variety grown in the Swiss Valais .

Roussin belongs to a group of grape varieties that have been able to maintain themselves in the geographical island location of the Alpine regions of Italy and the Valais in Switzerland. The following varieties belong to this group:

The values were measured between 1994 and 1998 in the Moncenis district at an altitude of 750 m above sea level. NN raised in a steep vineyard facing south:
- Budding: April 10th (→ BBCH scale for grapevines )
- Flowering: June 13th
- Maturity: September 5th
- Harvest: October 25th
