history

Rudelsdorf was probably created at the beginning of the 15th century. After mining for iron ore began in the surrounding mountains in the second half of the 16th century, the residents of the village were freed from labor. In the Thirty Years' War the mining went out and the subjects were again obliged to serve for the rule Groß Ullersdorf . In 1659 the people of Rudelsdorf revolted against the burdens placed on them by Přemek II von Zierotin . In the hoof register of 1677 there are 46 properties for Rudelsdorf. In 1707, the parish council announced that it was renouncing the previous privileges. Between 1751 and 1780, the Dreschler brothers mined for silver from raven soaps and operated counterfeiting at the White Stone . The last lynx was caught in the woods near Rudelsdorf in 1770 and the last wolf was shot in 1798. In the course of the division of the Groß Ullersdorfer rule, Petersdorf came to the rule Wiesenberg . The owners of the place were the lords of Zierotin and from 1770 the monastery Velehrad . In 1793 560 people lived in the village. In 1835 the linen and cotton weaving mill was founded. Between 1839 and 1842 the Kaiserstraße from Mährisch Schönberg to Römerstadt was built, which runs over the Fichtlingsattel .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Rudelsdorf / Rudolec with the hamlet of New Rudelsdorf from 1850, a municipality in the district Šumperk and the judicial district Wiesenberg. Between 1882 and 1885, Johann Anton Sieber had a school with a bell tower built. From 1880 the Czech name changed to Rudoltice . In 1890 831 people lived in 108 houses in Rudelsdorf. Around 1900 there were plans to build a rack railway over the Fichtlingsattel. The project, which was costly due to the construction of three tunnels, was dropped in 1921 after the advent of automobile traffic. Instead, the company Gebr. Klein from Zöptau expanded the old Kaiserstraße for car traffic over a period of five years. In 1930 there were 486 people living in the village's 107 houses, 460 of whom were Germans and 16 Czechs. 465 of the residents were Catholics. After the Munich Agreement , the municipality was annexed to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Mährisch Schönberg district until 1945 . In 1939 Rudelsdorf had 460 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled .

In 1949 Klepáčov was incorporated. In 1950, 234 people lived in the 75 houses in the village. Rudoltice has been part of Sobotín since 1961 . In 1991 the place had 105 inhabitants. In 1999 only 41 houses were permanently used for residential purposes and the village had 104 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 35 houses in which 110 people lived.
