SSA Global Windy City Open 2005

The SSA Global Windy City Open 2005 took place January 22-25, 2005 in Chicago , Illinois , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2004/05 and was endowed with 50,000 US dollars.

Defending champion was Nick Matthew , who did not get past the opening round this year. John White defeated Amr Shabana 11: 6, 11: 9 and 11: 6 in the final .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
