Windy City Open

The Windy City Open are an annual squash tournament for men and women. It takes place at the University Club of Chicago in Chicago , Illinois in the United States and is part of the PSA World Series . The tournament was launched in 1981 and is currently part of the men's World Series , the second highest valuation category . The total prize money of 150,000 US dollars . In the years 2008 to 2010 there was no event, in 2011 it was only a tournament in the Challenger category. In 2013 it was only part of the International 25 category , before it will be part of the World Series again from 2014, just as it was before the break from 2008 to 2010. A women's competition has also been held since 2014.

Nick Matthew , Grégory Gaultier and Mohamed Elshorbagy are the only players to have won the tournament twice. Raneem El Weleily won the women three times.
