SSA Global Windy City Open 2006

The SSA Global Windy City Open 2006 took place January 16-24, 2006 in Chicago , Illinois , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2005/06 and belonged to the Super Series category . It was endowed with $ 100,000.

Defending champion was John White , who was eliminated in the quarter-finals that year. He was defeated by David Palmer , who won the tournament with a final win over Jonathon Power . The final ended with 11: 5, 5:11, 11: 8, 9:11 and 12:10 for Palmer.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The 16 best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
