San Ildefonso is a municipality in the Philippines in the province of Ilocos Sur . In 2015 there were 7,787 people living in the area of just 14.65 km², resulting in a population density of 532 inhabitants per km². Most of the population in the flat area lives from agriculture. The Bantaoay River also flows through San Ildefonso.
