Santacruz is located in the province of Túquerres in the Departamento de Nariño at an altitude of 2000 to 3000 m above sea level. NN , 108 km from Pasto and has an average temperature of 18 to 24 ° C. The municipality borders Samaniego to the north, Sapuyes to the south, Túquerres and Providencia to the east and Mallama and Ricaurte to the west .
