Satanic Horses is a live album by the German punk rock band Die Ärzte , which is very close to the live album We want only your soul and is intended as a "thank you" for the fans. It contains pieces that appeared on the first medical live album Nach uns die Sintflut and were therefore not published again on We want only your soul . An exception is the live version of thetitle "Dos Corazones" published in1993 on the beast in human form .

The special album was available through the official fan club and was free for members when it came out. Since the album was only released in a very small edition, it is now one of the most sought-after collector's items among doctors' publications. In 2007 there was a reprint, which was intended for the new official fan club (DÄOF) as a supplement to the fan magazine.

The album's title is a nod to The Satanic Verses , a 1988 novel by Salman Rushdie.
