Die Ärzte is the third studio album by the German punk rock band Die Ärzte , released in 1986. The bassist Sahnie had left the band half a year earlier , so that Bela B. and Farin Urlaub recorded the album mostly on their own. Some of the bass runs and the guitar solo in Ich bin reich were taken over by producer Manfred Praeker , bassist for the Nina Hagen Band and Spliff . The album is available with from 18 on the index and is not available over the counter, therefore, in Germany.

background

When singles became forever and is that all? decoupled.

Other well-known titles on the record are, in addition to a cover version of the title Jenseits von Eden by Nino de Angelo , Sweet Sweet Gwendoline and Geschwisterliebe . Because of the latter, the entire album was indexed on January 27, 1987 .

The indexing was preceded by an application from the Essen City Youth Welfare Office dated December 18, 1986, which appeals to the federal inspection agency, for which, literally, the following is a reason for indexing: “According to the highest court rulings, a medium is immoral if it is subject to content and Expression is objectively capable of grossly violating feelings of shame and morality in sexual terms. "

The Federal Testing Office for Writings Harmful to Young People (today BPjM) followed the application of the Essen City Youth Office - which was also supported by further indexing applications from other authorities entitled to apply - and indexed the entire LP, as the testing center does not know any partial indexes.
