also is the twelfth regular studio album by the German rock band Die Ärzte , which was released on April 13, 2012.

background

After Die Ärzte had already worked without their long-time producer Uwe Hoffmann on the production of the album Jazz ist anders in 2007 , the new pieces were recorded with the TeamTonic, consisting of Mirko Schaffer, Oliver Zülch and Philipp Hoppen. They also parted ways with Thomas “Schwarwel” Meitsch , who had designed the graphic content for all of the band's publications since 1993. The new graphic designer is Felix Schlüter from Hamburg, who designed the album and is responsible for the new merchandising . In advance, a video was shot for each track on the album, showing the band playing, and an animated video was commissioned for each . A total of 32 videos were created for the album. The title zeiDverschwÄndung was released on March 2, 2012 as the pre- EP- length single . On April 3, the band's YouTube channel was followed by the song Son of the Void and a video.

Packaging and content

The packaging is a style board game designed. The CD booklet can be folded out and serves as a playing field. Three crown corks are included as playing figures . The CD serves as the turntable in the game.

Commercial win

The album reached number one in the German charts and stayed in the top 100 for a total of 34 weeks. It was awarded platinum for 200,000 units sold in Germany. Also took eighth place in the German annual album charts . The album was also awarded a gold record in Austria .
