Schützen- und Heimatmuseum Aldenhoven

The Aldenhoven Rifle and Local History Museum is located in the Old Tower in Aldenhoven , Düren district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The old tower is part of the former Aldenhoven fortifications from the 15th century. Under an agreement of 22 June 2001, took over St. Sebastianus - Schutterij the historic under monument protection standing building of the community.

After the building and monument law permits had been submitted, the work could begin in 2003, mainly in the personal contribution of the association members. The first construction phase was completed in summer 2010.

In the Rifle Museum, visitors are brought closer to the local history, which is closely related to the shooting scene. In addition, old king's chains , flags , uniforms and log books are exhibited. A conference room will also be available.
