Sebastian Becker (actor)
Sebastian Becker (* 1979 in Heidelberg ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Becker completed his acting training at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" from 2003 to 2007 . For his film and camera work, he also attended an annual program at Meisner-Technik in Berlin .
He had theater and stage engagements at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam (2005/06 season; as Lanzelot in Der Drache ), with the independent artist group “club tipping point” (2008 and 2009, both directed by Christoph Gosepath ), at the theater Stendal (season 2010/11; as Orlando in As You Like It ), at the cabaret theater “ Die Distel ” (2013; leading role as Fanica in The Lost Letter ) and at the theater “Vierte Welt” in Berlin-Kreuzberg (2013–2014 ).
Becker also took on various film and television roles. Since 2006 he has been in front of the camera regularly, initially in short films (including in Gabriel under the direction of Rita Lengyel , with Ralf Bauer as a partner), diploma and university films , etc. a. from the Film University Babelsberg and the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). He had cinema roles u. a. in My bird flies faster (2009) and in the German-Polish co-production Sommer auf dem Land (2011). He played supporting roles in front of the camera for ZDF in the television series Unser Charly (2008) and Lena Lorenz (2015).
In the television comedy Frauchen und die Deiwelsmilch (2014) he played one of the main roles alongside Daniela Katzenberger and Carmen Birk , the young Achim, whose girlfriend Nadja is to be deported back to her native Russia . In the 14th season of the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante (2019), Becker took on one of the main episode roles as the son of a Hamburg real estate tycoon .
Becker works regularly as a radio play speaker, a. a. for Deutschlandfunk , Deutschlandradio Kultur and rbb . He lives in Berlin.
