Shangqiu (商丘 市) is a prefecture -level city in the Chinese province of Henan . It has a total area of ​​10,658 km² and around 7.36 million inhabitants (2010 census). 618,549 people live in the actual urban settlement area of ​​Shangqiu (2010 census). Shangqiu was the first capital of the Shang Dynasty .

Administrative structure

At the county level, Shangqiu is made up of two districts , one urban district and six districts. These are:
