The Silver Birds (German: Silbervögel) were an aerobatic team of the Austrian Air Force .

history

The Silver Birds were founded in 1966 and existed until 1968. They were reactivated in 1975 and flew until 1976. In the first years of their existence, Fouga Magister were used, after reactivation Saab 105 . The last international appearance took place in 1976 at IAT 76 in Greenham Common .
