Solo Türk is the solo aerobatic team of the Turkish Air Force . It is the second aerobatic team in Turkey alongside the Türk Yıldızları . Are used F-16C / D block 40 .
history
The reason for the establishment of the squadron was the centenary of the Turkish Air Force. The first public demonstration took place on April 15, 2011 at the Akıncı military airfield in Ankara. The colors of the aircraft are black, silver and gold. It is supposed to symbolize the dance of power and technology with the clouds. On the bottom is the Turkish flag. A large eagle's head can be seen on the vertical tail.
The pilot of the Solo Türk Murat Keleş received the Hussein I sword as the highest award for his air show at the world's largest air show, the Royal International Air Tattoo .
