Silvius von Goldfus

Carl Silvius Magnus Adalbert von Goldfus (* December 24, 1840 in Breslau ; † July 9, 1922 in Kittelau ) was the manor owner, district administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Goldfus was a member of a 1678 in the Bohemian knighthood ennobled family. His parents were the Prussian major and heir to Riklasdorf, Groß and Klein Tinz , Adalbert Ritter von Goldfus (1803–1870) and Amanda von Broesigke (1815–1897).

He attended the Friedrichs-Gymnasium in Breslau and studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Breslau . In Bonn he was a member of the Corps Borussia . After passing the second state examination, he became a court assessor in 1868 and worked in the judiciary until 1870, most recently as acting district judge. In 1870 he became district administrator of the Nimptsch district .

From 1873 to 1879 Goldfus was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1884 to 1890 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Wroclaw District 5 Ohlau , Strehlen , Nimptsch and the German Reich Party .

Goldfus also served in the Prussian army and was a retired Rittmeister as a result. D. He continued to be the hereditary lord of Kittelau and a legal knight of the Order of St. John .
