Simon Michael (born April 13, 1984 in Heidelberg ; real name Simon-Michael Schmitt ) is a German musician, composer and music producer in the metal genre. As a drummer he is active in the bands Subway to Sally , Bannkreis and Silverlane .

Life

Since 1996 Simon Michael has been playing with his brother Christoph Alexander Schmitt in the power metal band The Rising Force, which has been called " Silverlane " since 2005 . His sister Dorotheé plays the keyboard in the band.

Simon Michael has been playing drums and percussion for Subway to Sally since 2005, and has also been one of the band's producers since 2011 and was involved in the composition of several pieces. In the making-of video for the Kreuzfeuer album , Eric Fish said that Simon Michael was "playing a vital role in this new way of working."

In addition to drums and percussion instruments, Simon Michael plays the piano, guitar and sings.
