Simon Schütz (born November 9, 1997 in Regensburg ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with ERC Ingolstadt from the German Ice Hockey League since the 2015/16 season and is also used in the DEL2 at ESV Kaufbeuren .

Career

The 1.79 m tall defender began his career at his home club, EV Regensburg , for which he went through all junior classes and rose to become one of the greatest German talents. He played in the junior national teams and, for example, led the German U20 national team to captain the world championship. He made his debut in the major league in the 2013/14 season. He has been under contract in Ingolstadt since 2015 and plays in the DEL2 with ESV Kaufbeuren at the same time with a sponsorship license . Schütz made his debut in the DEL on January 11, 2017.
