Fabio Wagner (born September 17, 1995 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with ERC Ingolstadt in the German Ice Hockey League since 2014 .

Career

Fabio Wagner is the son of the former national defender Bernd Wagner . He comes from the Landshut youth work and rose to rookie of the year in the DEL2 in the 2013/14 season . He has been under contract at ERC Ingolstadt since 2014 . In spring 2017 he extended his contract with the Panthers until 2020.

International

Fabio Wagner has run through several junior national teams. He played twice at the U20 World Cup. In 2013/14 he was voted one of the top 3 players on his team. At the 2015 World Cup he was vice-captain. Wagner was first appointed to the German national ice hockey team in March 2018.
