description

The unadorned, plastered hall church with the retracted choir tower was built in 1706. The three-story church tower is covered with a hood on which a lantern sits. The nave is covered with a hipped roof. A staircase to the galleries , which was added outside in 1720 , no longer exists.

The interior is painted in a folk style. On the parapets of the three-sided two-story gallery are scenes from the New Testament and quotations from the Bible . On the flattened wooden barrel vault of the nave, adorned with clouds and angel heads, there are three tall rectangular paintings with biblical parables of church music . On the upper floor of the galleries, on both sides of the organ , rooms are painted with bandwork . In the east are boxes and stalls . The church stalls are from the construction period. The pulpit altar from 1720 has a canopy supported by palm trees with an obelisk-shaped top into which the pulpit is inserted. On the top there are the figures of Moses and Aaron , angels and putti . The baptism angel is baroque .

The organ with 15 registers , divided into two manuals and the pedal , was built in 1892 by Albin Hickmann.
