St. Peter and Paul (Großbartloff)
The Church of St. Peter and Paul is a Roman Catholic branch church . It is located at Kirchgasse 5 in Großbartloff , a municipality in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia . The parish of St. Peter and Paul in Großbartloff became a subsidiary of the parish of St. Alban of the dean's office in Dingelstädt in the diocese of Erfurt .

The hall church , built according to the inscription in 1740, has a choir closed on three sides .
The church tower in the west of the former church built by master builder Andreas Fedeler in 1551 was retained. His name and the date of construction are on the west side of the tower. The interior was changed during the renovations from 1968 to 1972 . Another renovation took place in 1981. The pointed hipped roof of the tower has dormer windows with coupled windows under curtain arches . In 1734 the bell was cast by Johann Arnold Geyer .
The nave is covered with a ribbed vault, the choir with a monastery vault . In the crowns of the vaults, the medallions are painted with figures of saints and the year 1745. The baptismal font from 1606 has grotesque gaff heads on the foot and angel heads on the cup , as well as a Mainz wheel with a coat of arms .
In the choir there are carved figures of the apostles Peter and Paul from the mid-18th century. They come from the former Reifenstein monastery . The carved figure of Anna herself from the beginning of the 16th century has been relocated, as have the carved figures of King David and the Apostle Paul from the 2nd half of the 15th century. In front of the church there is a stone crucifix , dated 1766.
The organ with twelve registers , divided into two manuals and a pedal , was built in 1975 by Rudolf Kühn.
