St. Trinitatis (Hauröden)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Trinitatis is in the street Am Breiten Horn von Hauröden , a district of the rural community Am Ohmberg in the Eichsfeld district in Thuringia . The small half- timbered hall church was built from 1687 to 1692 in the center of the village on a foundation made of natural stone with a three-sided east end. Above the hipped gable roof The nave is spanned by a wooden barrel vault painted with clouds, angels and banners . From the nave a powerful growing in the West verschieferter roof tower out of on a construction of two detached columns and bars stands. It consists of a square attachment that merges into the recessed octagonal. A curved hood rises above it and is crowned by a lantern .
The interior is illuminated through tall rectangular windows. Thirteen medallions with figures of the apostles from the second half of the 16th century have been preserved in the southeast window . The church can be entered in the south through a two-winged portal from the Renaissance . It bears an inscription and is framed by pilasters with spherical attachments and a triangular gable. A monochrome wooden frame from the construction period has been preserved in the interior. Rotated columns with carved capitals support the three-sided galleries . The balustrades of the galleries show paintings from the life of Jesus and the names of the founders. The grilles of the lodge fixtures are partially richly carved. The baroque pulpit altar from 1692 has a two-storey column structure, it is flanked by statues of the evangelists . The sound cover of the pulpit is modeled on a crown.
The organ with 8 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built in 1861 by Friedrich Wilhelm Holland and restored by Sebastian Brode & Karl Brode.
