Staměřice (German Steinmeritz ) is a district of the municipality Dolní Újezd in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers northwest of Lipník nad Bečvou and belongs to the Okres Přerov .

Staměřice is located in the southern foothills of the Oder Mountains . The Libavá military training area extends to the northeast . To the northeast rise the Lomec (583 m) and the Slavkovský vrch (636 m), in the east the U Boudy (523 m). The R 35 / E 462 / E 442 expressway runs on the northern edge of the village .

Neighboring towns are Vrchní Pila, Kyjanice and Ranošov in the north, Zavadilka and Slavkov in the Northeast, Mokř and Bohuslávky the east, Skoky and Dolní Újezd in the southeast, Tupec, Veselíčko and Lukavec in the south, Stanislava, Pančava and Svrčov in the southwest, Výkleky the west and Velký Újezd in the north-west.

The oldest mention of the village is dated to 1322, but it cannot be documented. Stamyrzicz is documented for the first time in 1364 in connection with the payment of a toll in Olomouc . In 1374, the village belonging to Helfenstein Castle was named Stanimierzicz , 1447 Staramierzicze , from 1480 as Stanimierzicze and 1539 as Staměřice . In 1548 Johann von Pernstein on Helfenstein sold Staměřice together with other villages to Erasmus von Bobolusk, who added it to a Veselíčko lordship . In 1573 the Podstatzky von Prusinowitz acquired Veselíčko. The registers were kept in Ossek since 1693 and in Velký Újezd from 1764 . Other forms of name were Stanoměřice , Staroměřice (1557), Stanomitice (1566), Stameřice (1636), Steinmieržicz (1672), Steinmeritz (from 1676), Steinmieržitz (from 1718), Stanimezitz (from 1720), Stamerzitz , Stamerzitium (1771), Stamerice (1798), Stamněřice (1847) and Staňmeřice , Stannmeritz and Stanimericium (1863). The construction of the Kaiserstraße from Olomouc to Leipnik in the years 1783 to 1786 brought an upswing for the farming village and craftsmen settled there. In 1794 the village consisted of 23 houses and had 121 inhabitants. The Zavadilka Spans were built along the road in 1798 and the Green Tree Inn in 1806, around which the Zavadilka and Skoky settlements were formed in the 19th century. Until the middle of the 19th century, the village always remained subject to Veselíčko and the Counts of Podstatzky-Liechtenstein.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Staměřice / Steinmeritz together with the settlement Zavadilka 1850 a district of the municipality Velký Újezd in the district administration Moravian Weisskirchen . In 1855 the community was assigned to the Leipnik district, from 1868 it belonged again to the Mährisch Weißkirchen district. In 1895 a separate village school was established in Staměřice, which taught until 1924. The village consisted of 42 houses in 1900 and had 266 inhabitants. In 1902 Staměřice broke away from Velký Újezd ​​and formed its own municipality with Zavadilka. In the course of the regional reform of 1960 and the dissolution of the Okres Hranice, Staměřice was assigned to the Okres Přerov on January 1, 1961 and at the same time Skoky was incorporated. In 1976 the municipality of Staměřice with the district Skoky and the settlement Zavadilka was attached to the Local National Committee Dolní Újezd ​​and in 1983 it was completely incorporated. In 1980 Staměřice consisted of 65 houses and had 257 inhabitants. In 1991 there were 269 people in Staměřice. At the end of the 1990s, the R 35 expressway was built north of the village . The 2001 census counted 87 houses and 265 residents.
