Stef Burns
Stef Burns (born June 26, 1959 in Oakland ) is an American musician . He is the guitarist of the band Huey Lewis & the News , where he replaced Chris Hayes , who left at the time, in 2000 .
biography
Stef Burns learned to play the guitar on his father's instrument when he was six years old. As a teenager he was a member of several cover bands with whom he played the songs of Lynyrd Skynyrd , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , and the Marshall Tucker Band .
As a professional musician, he then played for Pablo Cruise, Sheila E. , Prince , Berlin , Michael Bolton and Alice Cooper , among others , before joining the band around Huey Lewis . In addition to his permanent affiliation with this band, he continues to work for other artists.
He also produces music for commercials and film productions.
