Rob Sudduth

Rob Sudduth is an American musician. He has been part of the horn section of the band Huey Lewis & The News since 1994 . His main instrument is the saxophone , but he also plays the flugelhorn and trombone .

biography

Sudduth is from Sonoma County , California and grew up in the Bay Area . He took an early interest in music and learned to play the saxophone. He plays both jazz and rock and has worked with artists such as Rusty Zinn , Norah Jones , Jaron Lanier and Ben Goldberg . Since 1994 he has been part of the permanent ensemble of the band Huey Lewis & the News, in which he is not only an instrumentalist but also arranger for the group's brass section.

Sudduth has lived in New York since 2002 , where he works as a session musician and plays in Broadway productions such as Grease and Hairspray .
