Stephanie Zimbalist
Stephanie Zimbalist (born October 8, 1956 in New York City ) is an American actress .
Life
Her grandparents were the violinist Efrem Zimbalist and the opera singer Alma Gluck . Her father was the actor Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. She was best known for the television series Remington Steele, which was filmed between 1982 and 1987 . Her film partner was Irish actor Pierce Brosnan .
After the series ended, she starred in various television films and took theater engagements. Since 1977 she has appeared in around 60 film and television productions, with a focus on television. Her few films include Our Lassie (1978) alongside James Stewart and Mickey Rooney, and The Awakening of the Sphinx (1980) alongside Charlton Heston .
In 2009 she was seen in the play Tea at Five , in which the life of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn is traced through monologues .
In her last film, A Timeless Love , Zimbalist played a woman with Alzheimer's disease alongside Daniel Roebuck .
