Stierberg is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Langschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 20 building areas with 8,383 m² and 8 gardens on 746 m² in the cadastral community of Stierberg , in 1989/1990 there were 20 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 53 and in 2009/2010 there were 31 buildings on 54 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 128 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 69 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 122 hectares and 74 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 114 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 75 hectares. The average soil climate of Stierberg is 16.8 (as of 2010).
