Streith is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Langschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 19 building areas with 8,637 m² and 7 gardens on 380 m² in the cadastral municipality of Streith , in 1989/1990 there were 19 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 69 and in 2009/2010 there were 39 buildings on 68 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 117 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 56 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 113 hectares and 59 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 107 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 63 hectares. Streith's average soil climate number is 16.5 (as of 2010).
