Kogschlag is a locality and in the spelling Koggschlag a cadastral municipality of the market town of Langschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 12 building areas with 4,773 m² and 5 gardens on 455 m² in the cadastral community of Koggschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 12 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 37 and in 2009/2010 there were 21 buildings on 34 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 59 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 31 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 58 hectares and 31 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 56 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 31 hectares. The average soil climate in Koggschlag is 17.3 (as of 2010).
