Mittelberg is a village and a cadastral municipality of the market town of Langschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 9 building areas with 3,847 m² and 3 gardens on 99 m² in the cadastral community of Mittelberg , in 1989/1990 there were 9 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 18 and in 2009/2010 there were 11 buildings on 19 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 70 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 51 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 64 hectares and 57 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 61 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 60 hectares. The average soil climate number of Mittelberg is 17 (as of 2010).
