In 2000 Stefano Ghigliano ( drums ), Morgan ( guitar ), Stefano "Vlad" Gehrsi ( vocals ) and Flavio "Magna" Magnaldi ( bass ) founded the band that originally played hardcore metal . Today two guitarists play Andrea Bailo and Giacomo "Jack" Poli, while Morgan is no longer active in the band. Their demo Metamorphosis was released in 2003 as an in-house production. A short time later, the band signed a deal with Nocturnal Brights , where the band produced a two-track EP and released it under the name Epitaph of Pain in 2005.

After that the band changed labels and released their debut album When Midnight Strikes! at the US label Pivotal Rockordings . This album received positive reviews from many metal magazines such as Legacy , Metal Hammer , Rock Hard and even on the Iron Maiden Airplay by singer Bruce Dickinson . The band has already played a European tour that ended with a performance at the Belgian hardcore music festival Ieperfest and two concerts with Bring Me the Horizon and August Burns Red .

In April 2010 the band released their second album Concerto of the Undead , which the band produced together with BMTH guitarist Jona Weinhofen and is for sale worldwide, so there is a limited edition with a T-shirt, an Australian and a Japanese CD Edition. This album was mixed by Scott Akins, who has worked with Behemoth , Sylosis and Cradle of Filth . After the release, the band signed a recording deal with Stomp Entertainment , which produced the Australian and Japanese editions of the album Concerto for the Undead .

In 2010 the band gave concerts outside of Italy again, including in Hungary and Denmark . The band could also be seen at the Metalfest in Hungary. There the band played together with Amon Amarth , Legion of the Damned , Vader , Eluveitie and Marduk . The band was also the opener for Bleeding Through , which played on June 15, 2010 in Rome .

On January 17, 2011, the second EP, The Undertaker , was released, but it can only be purchased digitally as a download. Simone Mularoni (producer), Bleeding Through Frontman Brandan Schieppati and Anaal Nathrakh musician Mick Kenney , who run Bombs of Death Productions , were involved in the production. The cover artwork is by Daniel Mcbride, who has also designed covers for Born of Osiris , Veil of Maya and After the Burial . In addition, a music video was shot for the song The Undertaker , where Salvatore Perroni was a producer. Perroni has filmed videos with Suicide Silence , Devildriver and Evergreen Terrace .

In February 2012, the musicians announced the breakup of the band. Some musicians founded the band The Doomsayer .
