Nagelfluhkette-eastern part

The Stuiben ( 1749 m above sea level ) is a mountain in the Nagelfluh chain in the Allgäu Alps . It is part of the international Nagelfluhkette Nature Park project . From the summit there is a comprehensive panoramic view of the Säntis , the Zugspitze and Lake Constance . To the south there is a view of the Allgäu Alps. The Schartenhöhe of the Stuiben is at least 169 meters, its dominance 2.3 kilometers, whereby the Buralpkopf is the reference mountain .

Mountain mass

The Stuiben Fair takes place every year at the beginning of September at the summit cross of the Stuiben. It is organized by the Immenstadt Kolping Family and the Immenstadt-Bühl-Rauhenzell Parish Council and accompanied musically by a delegation from the Immenstadt town band.

Coming from Immenstadt

Steigbachtal - Alpe Mittelberg ( 1368 m above sea level ) - Alpe Gund - Stuiben (duration approx. 3 hours)
Steigbachtal - Alpe Gund - Stuiben (duration approx. 3 hours): This path leads over the so-called Schweinsstieg.
Steigbachtal - Mittagberg - Steineberg - Stuiben (duration approx. 6 hours): Probably the classic route, endurance and a head for heights required.

Coming from Oberstaufen

Hochgrat ( 1834 m above sea level ) - Rindalphorn ( 1822 m above sea level ) - Buralpkopf ( 1772 m above sea level ) - Stuiben (duration approx. 6 hours): This tour requires a lot of stamina, no hut on the way.

In winter the Stuiben is a popular destination for ski tours. The ascent route with touring skis begins at the cemetery in Immenstadt or in Gschwend on the Großer Alpsee .
