history

Post Office (2009)

After the first Polish partition in 1772 by Frederick the Great , Württemberg families were settled in Sullenczin . In 1785 Sulleczin is referred to as a noble estate, farm and village with a Catholic church, a jug, a grain and cutting mill and a total of 22 fireplaces (households); At that time the landowner was a von Laßewski. The manor district Sullenczin formed its own court day district in the 19th century.

Until 1920 Sullenschin was a place in the district of Karthaus in the administrative district of Danzig in the province of West Prussia of the German Empire .

After the First World War , Sullenschin belonged to the part of Pomerania that had to be ceded to Poland with effect from January 20, 1920 due to the provisions of the Versailles Treaty for the purpose of establishing the Polish Corridor . After the invasion of Poland in 1939, the area returned to the Reich and was incorporated into the Reichsgau Danzig-West Prussia , to which the village belonged until 1945.

Towards the end of the Second World War , the Red Army occupied the region in the spring of 1945 . Had not fled far as German citizens, they were in the period that followed sold .
