Sven Gielnik (born May 2, 1994 in Hamburg ) is a German director and actor .

Life

Sven Gielnik grew up in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin. In 2012 he completed his Abitur at the Babelsberg Film High School. Since then he has attended several workshops on directing , editing and scripting .

His film and television career began early. From 2006 to 2007 he was seen in the crime series Stadt, Land, Mord! as Jonas Hofman in the child's lead role. In 2006 he was seen in the family drama Confident Fear in the child role of David Wegener. From 2006 to 2016 he played in the crime series Der Kommissar und das Meer as Niklas Anders.

As a teenager, Sven Gielnik took on major roles in television films such as The best is only to come , To the limit , UFO , Clear case for bear , In the best families , Arne's estate , Neue Adresse Paradies , Tatort and Charlotte's World . In 2014 he was nominated as the youngest up-and-coming director with his film Linnea at the Max-Ophüls Festival . Since then he has continued his acting career.

In 2016, Six in one fell swoop: Nutcracker and Mouse King with Gielnik in the role of the nutcracker that came to life was nominated for the Grimme Prize .

Since 2015 he has been studying scenic directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy.
