Ted Atherton

Ted Atherton (* 1962 , in Winnipeg , Manitoba ) is a Canadian actor , screenwriter , playwright and former English teacher.

He became famous for his cast of Panhandle Phillips in Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy , Myles Leland III in the TV series Sue Thomas: FBI , Randall Edwards in Degrassi: The Next Generation , Clifford Holland in The Border , for US President Walter "Wally" Sheridan in the two-part XIII - the conspiracy and series XIII - the conspiracy and more roles in the so-called mini-series .

Life

After general school he attended the University of Toronto , which he left with a Bachelor Degree in English and Drama . He then completed his Masters in Acting at The Banff Center for three years . He then worked as an English teacher until he began his acting career.

He was first seen on television in 1996 in an episode of the Canadian TV series Traders . Two years later followed a role in the TV movie Never Marry a Cowboy . In the same year followed an appearance in the series Nikita and a supporting role in the television film Rescuers: Stories of Courage: Two Families . In 1999 he played the sophisticated historical portrayal of Jean d'Estivet in Jeanne d'Arc - The Woman of the Millennium . He was also seen in An unbeatable double alongside the Olsen twins . From 1999 to 2000 he played the role of Panhandle Phillips in Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy .

He started the new millennium with a cast in the television film Hello, am I Santa Claus? . This was followed by a cast in an episode of The Associates series and in the film Whitewash: The Clarence Brandley Story . From 2002 to 2005 he played the lead role of Myles Leland III in the TV series Sue Thomas: FBI In Time Warp Trio from 2005, he dubbed Meriwether Lewis . He played detective Doug Johnson in The 2006 Hollywood Conspiracy . In the 2007 miniseries Everest - Race to Death , he played the character Alan Burgess . In 2007 he worked with his role as Frank Wisner in The Company - On behalf of the CIA in another miniseries, as well as in the film The Stone Angel . From 2007 to 2012 he was in the youth series Degrassi: The Next Generation . There he played the role of Randall Edwards . In 2008 the miniseries The Andromeda Strain followed . In the same year he impersonated the President of the USA Walter "Wally" Sheridan in the two-part film XIII - The Conspiracy . He repeated the role in the first season of the series of the same name from 2011. Also in 2008, he played on the side of Mark Wahlberg in the film adaptation of Max Payne . From 2008 to 2010 he played the role of Clifford Holland in The Border .

In 2010 he starred in the US TV movie Who is Clark Rockefeller? the role of Det. John Ryan , he also appeared in the web series Pure Pwnage . In Blue Mountain State , he was seen in a total of four episodes between 2010 and 2011. In 2012, he dubbed in Zac & Penny the figure Thelonious . In 2013 he was allowed to appear in one episode each of the series Transporter: The Series , Lost Girl , Bomb Girls and Suits . In 2014 he played in two episodes of the series Reign Lord Hugo .
