Ten on One (The Singles) is the first best-of compilation album by German - French pop singer Sandra . It was released via Virgin on October 5, 1987.
Emergence
The album was produced by Michael Cretu and Armand Volker , the recordings took place in the Data Alpha Studio, Munich , between January 1985 and August 1987. For the album, Sandra's single hits were combined with two unreleased recordings, the cover Everlasting Love and Stop for a Minute , both of which were released as singles, and the album title Don't Cry (The Breakup of the World) by Mirrors . In Everlasting Love played Curt Cress , the percussion instruments.
layout
The cover, which shows Sandra lying on her stomach with her bare upper body on a bed, was designed by Mike Schmidt, the photo is by Dieter Eikelpoth . The original edition of the album contains a poster with Sandra's comments on the individual pieces.
reception
The album reached number 19 in Germany, number 14 in Switzerland and number 28 in Austria .
