The Looming Tower is an American miniseries from 2018. It is based on the book Death Will Find You , whose original title is also The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11 .
action
The Looming Tower tracks the growing threat posed by Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist network in the late 1990s, and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA inadvertently paved the way for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks .
She follows members of the I-49 Squad in New York and Alec Station in Washington, DC, the counterterrorism divisions of the FBI and the CIA as they travel the world pursuing the same goal: an impending attack on U.S. Prevent soil.
Publication and synchronization
The original version in English was produced for the US video portal Hulu and published from February 28 to April 18, 2018.
There are two German-language dubbed versions . The first one, published on Prime Video since March 9, 2018 , was of "poor quality", so that Amazon removed it from its video-on-demand offering after just a week . This dubbed version was commissioned by the producers of the miniseries from JBI Studios in Los Angeles .
Amazon then had a second, completely new dubbed version created by Scalamedia in Munich. The dialogue books for the episodes were now written by Marina Rehm, Edgar Möller and Cornelius Frommann. Marika von Radványi and Benedikt Rabanus directed the dialogue . The newly set episodes have been published weekly since May 4, 2018.
