Carol, Tyreese and Judith pass a hut in the forest just before Terminus, where a Terminus dweller places fireworks that are regularly fired to the confusion of the walkers. They overhear his conversation over the radio with his accomplices , in which some of the prison survivors are mentioned. Startled, Tyreese and Carol quickly capture the man and question him. Carol decides to secretly explore Terminus, while Tyreese stays behind with Judith in the hut . The man engages Tyreese in a conversation in which he finally announces that Tyreese, Carol and little Judith will not survive the day. Meanwhile, Carol watches as the trapped Rick, Bob, Daryl and Glenn are led across the Terminus compound. But when a little later, after a car breakdown, they stand in front of an area overrun by walkers, the frightened Eugene finally confesses that he is not a scientist at all, but rather that he lied from the start in order to be protected by others. What puts Abraham under heavy psychological stress. The group then heads back to the church. Meanwhile, the viewer learns that the kidnapped Beth is being held at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Rick's group decides to leave the Atlanta area for Noah's last refuge in Shirewilt, near Richmond, Virginia , which they find devastated. In Noah's old house, Tyreese is attacked and infected by a walker. The group amputated his injured arm, but he died anyway due to severe blood loss . Since Sasha had recently lost Bob, with whom she had fallen in love, she falls into a depression, becomes tired of life and distances herself from the rest of the group. Exhausted and discouraged from the exertions of the past few days, the group wanders aimlessly down a street and doesn't even care about the walkers who are chasing them as long as they don't get dangerously close. The next morning, Sasha and Maggie are approached by a man named Aaron who asks for an audience with Rick. He claims to be a member of a peaceful community that lives in a city protected by a meter-high steel wall and is looking for new members to enrich it. The survivors are amazed and increasingly frustrated by the carelessness and naivety of the residents of Alexandria in dealing with outsiders - humans as well as biters. Since most of the residents have lived protected by walls and largely shielded from the outside world almost since the beginning of the Apocalypse, very few of them have had combat experience, let alone a realistic idea of ​​the new, brutal world outside these walls. In flashbacks, the residents of Terminus are attacked and captured by looters. The inhabitants of Terminus were then able to overcome the looters and became butchers in turn. Eugene then tells him about his mission. In the present, Abraham, Rosita, Eugene, Tara, Maggie and Glenn are driving past a group of walkers in the church bus when suddenly a defect occurs on the vehicle, Abraham loses control, their bus hits a vehicle and overturns. However, the six remain unharmed and can escape from the bus before it goes up in flames and dispose of the walkers. The group finally finds a bookstore that serves as a shelter for the night. Abraham thanks Glenn for his guidance and support. Eugene observes - as occasionally before and not unnoticed by them - Abraham and Rosita having sex and is caught by Tara.
